PDF to Multiple PDFs

Parse & Pack allows you to organize a single input (or multiple inputs) into several distinct output files. This is perfect for organizing messy documents into structured learning modules.

The Power of Buckets

When you define multiple categories in your prompt, Parse & Pack treats each category as its own "bucket." Pages matching the criteria for a specific bucket are gathered and compiled into a unique PDF.

  • Input: One large "Semester 1 Review" PDF.
  • Prompt: "Create 3 PDFs: 1. Kinematics, 2. Dynamics, 3. Waves."
  • Output: Three separate downloads, each focused on one topic.

Why use Multiple Outputs?

  • Topic Separation: Keep your study sessions focused on one topic at a time.
  • Teacher/Student split: Create one PDF for "Student Questions" and another for "Teacher Solutions" from a single source.
  • File Optimization: Break down large files into smaller, more manageable chunks for easier reading and sharing.

Technical Tips

  • Browser Permissions: When Parse & Pack generates multiple PDFs, your browser may prompt you to "Allow multiple downloads." Make sure to click Allow to receive all your files.
  • Empty Categories: If the AI finds zero pages that match a specific category you requested, that PDF will not be generated.
  • Cross-Document Grouping: If you upload 5 PDFs and ask for 2 categories, the app will find matching pages across all 5 files and group them into the 2 requested outputs.
